Duration: Permanent

Location: Dublin 15

Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm, Friday 8:30am - 4:30pm

 

Warehouse & Counterbalance Operative

 

Industrial distributor in Dublin 15 is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to join its warehouse team. This opportunity is suited to someone with a solid background in warehouse operations who enjoys a hands-on role involving stock handling, order fulfilment and forklift duties.

 

You'll be responsible for ensuring stock is received, stored and dispatched efficiently. Working with a wide variety of products, you'll support goods-in and goods-out activities while helping to maintain a safe, organised and productive working environment.

 

This is a varied position combining Counterbalance Forklift operation with order picking, stock replenishment, inventory control and general warehouse responsibilities. It would suit an individual who takes pride in their work, works well as part of a team and is comfortable balancing forklift duties with physical warehouse tasks throughout the day.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift throughout the working day.
  • Receive, unload and check inbound deliveries.
  • Prepare and pick customer orders accurately from delivery dockets.
  • Support daily goods-in and dispatch activities.
  • Process and organise incoming pallet deliveries.
  • Allocate stock to the correct warehouse locations.
  • Carry out stock transfers and replenishment duties.
  • Assist with inventory control and stock accuracy.
  • Handle a range of products of varying sizes and weights.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the warehouse.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Follow all Health & Safety procedures and site regulations.

 

Requirements

 

  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
  • Valid Manual Handling Certificate.
  • Previous warehouse experience within a busy environment.
  • Strong experience in order picking and stock control.
  • Good spoken and written English.
  • Dependable and hardworking attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Comfortable carrying out manual handling duties.
  • Experience combining forklift operation with general warehouse activities.
