VNA Operator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and skilled VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) Operator to join a leading logistics company based in Dublin 22. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and safe handling of goods within the narrow aisle warehouse environment. Working Mon – Thur 08:00 – 16:30 Fri 08:00 – 15:30.

As a VNA Operator, you will be responsible for operating the bendi trucks to move goods within the warehouse. You will ensure that goods are stored and retrieved efficiently, maintaining high levels of safety and operational efficiency. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent coordination, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Operating VNA equipment to move goods within the warehouse.
• Ensuring accurate and safe placement of goods in narrow aisles
• Conducting regular checks and maintenance on VNA equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations within the warehouse environment
• Collaborating with the warehouse team to optimize space utilisation and improve operational workflows.
• Participating in inventory counts and ensuring accuracy in stock management.
• Reporting any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management promptly

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a VNA Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse environment
• Valid certification to operate VNA equipment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and regulations
• Excellent attention to detail and precision in handling warehouse operations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
