Salary: 43,000 - 48,000 yearly

Rigid ADR Driver

Leading logistics company in North Dublin is looking for a dedicated and experienced ADR Rigid Driver to join our dynamic team. This is a great chance to work for a company that values its employees and offers a rewarding career path.

As an ADR Rigid Driver, you'll be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting hazardous materials. You must have valid ADR, CPC, and Tachograph cards, as well as a full C EU/Irish License. Previous experience driving ADR Rigid Lorries is essential.

 

Responsibilities

  • Unloading hazardous materials with strict adherence to safety protocols and compliance requirements.
  • Drive rigid trucks, primarily 26-ton lorries, on diverse routes within Ireland.
  • Maintain detailed records of shipments, deliveries, and inspections.
  • Inspect trucks and equipment for mechanical issues or safety hazards.
  • Adhere to all applicable regulations, including ADR, Tachograph, and road traffic laws.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in the logistics industry with a strong understanding of ADR regulations and procedures.
  • In-depth knowledge of Irish roads, traffic patterns, and route optimization.
  • Valid CPC, ADR, Tachograph, and C-Class Licenses to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Strong experience driving rigid trucks, particularly 26-ton lorries, demonstrating proficiency in handling large vehicles and various cargo types.
  • Excellent driving record with a commitment to safety and adherence to traffic laws.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues, customers, and suppliers.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts
