Forklift Driver

 

Leading building materials supplier in South Dublin is looking for a skilled and reliable Forklift Driver to join their team. As a key member of the logistics department, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse and contributing to the company's success. Previous experience working with stainless steel products within a warehouse environment is preferred for this role.

As a successful candidate, you will be the holder of valid Counterbalance & PPT forklift certificates, as well as a valid manual handling. You will have proven competence with operating Counterbalance & PPT forklifts. To succeed in this role, you must be highly organized, a hard worker, and have excellent time management skills.

 

Responsibilities:

• Skilfully operating both Counterbalance & PPT forklifts
• Accurately picking orders using dockets
• Safely loading and unloading pallets
• Efficiently transporting goods within the warehouse
• Strictly adhering to company health and safety regulations
• Fostering effective communication across departments
• Conducting daily safety inspections

 

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance & PPT forklift licenses.
• Manual Handling certificate
• Availability to work Monday to Friday, 8 am - 5:30 pm.
• Experience in a warehouse environment.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Great English communication skills.
• Exceptional time-management skills.
