Warehouse/Goods in Operative

This role presents an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to apply their expertise in a stable and reputable organisation. This is a full-time position in South Dublin working with the warehouse team.

Reporting directly to the Goods in Manager, as a successful candidate you will engage in core warehouse tasks such as unloading, sorting items, labelling products as needed and ensuring proper handling of goods. Additional duties include you coordinating with other departments to address any discrepancies and maintaining a clean and organised workspace in line with safety regulations.

 Responsibilities:

• Unloading goods from delivery trucks and containers, ensuring safe handling to prevent damage.
• Conducting quality inspections of incoming stock, checking for defects, or discrepancies.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, particularly related to forklift operation and the handling of hazardous materials.
• Performing general tasks and duties as assigned by management, including general warehouse duties.
• Scanning stock into designated locations using rf scanners and inventory software for accurate record-keeping.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a warehouse environment.
• Proven history as an effective team member with a collaborative work approach.
• Certification and practical experience in Manual Handling.
• Physically fit and capable of lifting and manoeuvring heavy loads.
• Thorough understanding and adherence to Health & Safety legislation.
