Role: Reach Truck Driver.

Salary: €14.85 per hour

Duration: Contract

Location: Ballymount

Hours: Monday to Friday 08:30-17:00 with potential overtime

 

Reach Truck Driver

Fantastic Opportunity has opened up to work for one of Irelands leading construction companies in a daytime role. They are searching for a Reach Truck Driver apply their skills in this well-established company based in Ballymount. This full-time temp-to-perm role offers ongoing hours, stability, and the chance to join a supportive, close-knit team that offers immediate start for the right person!

Reporting to the transport manager you will be operating the Reach Truck daily. You will be involved in operating the reach truck to complete various tasks such as put away of pallets to high racking locations, staging pallets that are ready for dispatch, and arranging pallet locations via the reach truck. As an experienced operative, you will also assist in general warehouse duties such as picking and packing, while adhering to the company’s stringent health and safety policies.

Responsibilities:

  • Palletising and staging pallets for optimal storage and shipping.
  • Organising stock and performing put away procedures to designated locations.
  • Safely and efficiently operating Reach truck.
  • Perform daily pre-operation checks on Reach Truck.
  • Adhere to all companies’ health and safety policies.
  • Ensuring yard and warehouse is kept to an expected standard of cleanliness.
  • Contributing to the overall warehouse operations through general duties.

 

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a Reach Truck Driver (2+ Years experience highly advantageous).
  • Be physically fit.
  • Great work ethic and sense of teamwork.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience using an RF Scanner.
  • Valid Reach Truck License (Required).
  • Manual Handling Certificate. (Required).
