Parcel Delivery Driver

Parcel Delivery Drivers are a vital link in the supply chain, ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods to customers and businesses alike. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced and growing logistics operation in Dublin, where service quality and efficiency are key. This role requires a professional and customer-focused approach to ensure each parcel is delivered safely and on time. Applicants must be comfortable using smartphones and navigation applications, possess strong communication skills and have solid geographical knowledge of Dublin. This position involves frequent driving, route planning and problem-solving to overcome delays or address customer needs on the spot. A full, clean B licence is required.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a company vehicle to deliver parcels across designated areas in Dublin
• Use digital navigation tools such as Google Maps to plan and optimise daily routes
• Load, organise and manage parcels efficiently in the delivery vehicle
• Deliver parcels on time while providing excellent customer service
• Maintain accurate delivery records using provided software or handheld devices
• Report any issues or delays to the operations team promptly
• Carry out basic vehicle checks and report maintenance needs
• Follow company procedures and adhere to health and safety regulations

Requirements:

• Full, clean Category B driving licence
• Previous delivery or driving experience preferred but not essential
• Strong geographical knowledge of Dublin and surrounding areas
• Comfortable using smartphone apps, especially Google Maps
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and handle physical aspects of the role
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering high standards of service
• Good time-management and organisational skills
