Salary: €16.00 - €18.00 per hour, DOE.

Duration: Permanent, full-time.

Location: Dublin South.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.

 

VNA Operative

Exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) Driver to join a well-established logistics team in Dublin Southwest. This position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods within the warehouse, supporting the overall operations of a fast-paced environment. The position is being offered on a 6-month contract with the possibility of becoming a permanent role based on performance and business needs.

The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse processes. In this role your primarily responsible will be to operate the VNA, your duties will include but not limited to assist with the goods in department and general warehouse duties. With a competitive hourly rate of €16p/h - €18p/h, this position offers a fantastic opportunity for those looking to further their career in a growing team and company.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Operate the VNA forklift to move, load, and unload products.
  • Handling goods with care and ensuring their accurate placement into designated locations.
  • Performing routine maintenance checks on the VNA and reporting any faults.
  • Following all health and safety regulations and contributing to a safe working environment.
  • Assisting with manual handling tasks, including lifting, and moving goods as needed.
  • Meeting daily operational targets and contributing to overall team success.
  • Collaborating with warehouse staff to optimise workflow and efficiency.

 

Requirements:

  • Valid VNA forklift licence/certification.
  • Previous experience operating a VNA forklift in a warehouse setting.
  • Manual handling experience with the ability to lift and move heavy items.
  • Experience in an FMCG environment necessary.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Willingness to work occasional overtime when required.
