Opportunity to join a thriving nationwide enterprise seeking an experienced Inventory controller offering an exceptional benefits package Your someone who has experience managing stock in a central warehouse and multiple locations with a solid understanding of excel and ERP systems.

This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient management of inventory, maintaining accurate stock levels, and supporting the overall supply chain function. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in stock control, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

The role involves working closely with warehouse teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure stock accuracy, minimise discrepancies, and improve operational efficiency. A key part of the position is analysing stock movements, optimising inventory levels, implement best practices to reduce waste and assist with the installation of a new ERP system.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate stock records and ensure inventory levels are optimised.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to identify discrepancies.
  • Investigate stock variances and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to manage stock replenishments efficiently.
  •  Monitor stock movements and ensure timely replenishment to meet demand.
  • Work closely with warehouse and logistics teams to streamline stock management processes.
  •  Analyse stock data to identify trends and improve forecasting accuracy.
  • Implement and maintain best practices for stock control procedures.
  •  Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  •  Generate reports on stock levels, discrepancies, and inventory performance.
  •  Support the finance team with stock valuations and reconciliations.
  •  Use inventory management systems to track stock movements and update records.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a stock control, inventory management, or supply chain role
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  •  Proficiency in inventory management software and Strong Microsoft Excel is essential 
  •  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  •  Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to stock control.
  •  Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  •  Knowledge of stock control best practices and industry regulations.
  •  Experience in working with warehouse and logistics teams.
  •  Ability to analyse stock data and make data-driven decisions.
  •  Full clean driving licence
