Warehouse Operator/Van Driver

Leading logistics company based in North Dublin is seeking a dynamic individual to join their team. This role involves applying your skills both in the warehouse and on the road, assisting with deliveries and collections of products as needed. The ideal candidate will have a Full B driving license, a valid forklift license, and a manual handling certificate.

Your duties will include picking goods using scanning equipment, loading and unloading vehicles via the counterbalance, and performing general warehouse tasks. Additionally, you will be required to drive the company van to manage collections and deliveries within the North Dublin area.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver packages and goods from warehouses to personal or business addresses.
• Provide exceptional customer service and obtain client signatures when needed.
• Load & unload and operate the delivery vehicle.
• Assist with general warehouse duties, including picking and packing orders for dispatch.
• Maintain a clean, organised warehouse in compliance with company health and safety policies.
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors, customers, and coworkers.
• Perform manual handling tasks as needed in the warehouse.

Requirements:

• Full B EU driving license.
• Counterbalance forklift essential.
• Strong knowledge of Dublin and surrounding areas for efficient deliveries.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers.
• Understanding and following local transportation laws and safety procedures
