You’ll ensure consistent delivery of high-quality goods while fostering strong relationships with suppliers, within the supply team. You’ll be motivated and eager to make a real impact. You’ll be working directly with suppliers to ensure any delays or any other issues can be resolved.
Responsibilities
- Analyse purchasing trends to anticipate future requirements and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Select high-grade produce that aligns with inventory goals and customer expectations.
- Manage purchase orders within the ERP system with precision.
- Collaborate with suppliers to address delivery delays, pricing discrepancies and other operational challenges.
- Track competitor pricing and product standards to ensure competitive value.
- Work closely with warehouse, logistics and customer service teams to support continuous operations.
- Proactively identify areas for cost reduction and process optimisation.
Requirements
- Hands-on involvement in fast-paced environment.
- Experience in Supply Chain, Quality Management or a related discipline is a strong advantage.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and familiar with procurement or quality management systems.
- Analytical thinker with a keen eye for detail and strong communication skills.
- Motivated to tackle challenges head-on and find effective, innovative solutions.
