You’ll take ownership of everything from supplier selection and category strategy to cost optimisation and commercial negotiations. You will be commercially minded and proactive. You’ll be confident managing supplier relationships, negotiating terms and implementing strategies that strike the right balance between cost, quality and service.
Responsibilities
- Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Director and working closely with the Head of Product Development
- Leading procurement within a newly reorganised Supply Chain function, which includes Planning, Logistics, and Procurement
- Managing tenders and price negotiations for ingredients, packaging and utilities
- Implementing supplier KPIs, category strategies and procurement systems to drive performance
- Conducting supplier audits and ensuring compliance with industry standards
- Driving cost optimisation while maintaining strong supplier relationships and product quality
- Analysing spend data to support informed, data-led decision-making
- Travelling primarily within Ireland and the UK to meet suppliers and partners
Requirements
- Experience in procurement and supply chain management
- Experience of managing supplier relationships and negotiating commercial terms
- Confidence in negotiating with suppliers across Ireland and the UK
- Exposure to category management and strategic sourcing
- Hands-on experience in cost optimisation and conducting supplier audits
- Familiarity with commodity purchasing is a plus
- Strong commercial awareness and analytical thinking
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across internal teams and external partners
