Warehouse Supervisor
Leading global electrical supplier based in Baldonnel is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading people. The ideal candidate will have proven experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and a strong track record of leading teams in a fast-paced environment.
You will oversee a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring performance, accuracy and productivity targets are consistently achieved. You will work closely with management across Transport, Customer Service and other operational departments. You will be responsible for keeping the operation flowing smoothly and driving improvements that elevate performance.
Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate and develop a high‑performing team of Warehouse Operatives, ensuring all KPI and productivity targets are consistently achieved.
- Maintain, enforce and promote all Health & Safety standards to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.
- Monitor key operational KPIs—including pick rates, accuracy and dispatch performance—and take proactive corrective action where required.
- Plan, coordinate and oversee daily workflows across receiving, pick & pack, dispatch and inventory control to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Identify, recommend and implement process improvements that enhance productivity, streamline operations and reduce costs.
- Maintain strong stock integrity by monitoring stock levels, investigating discrepancies and ensuring accurate reporting.
- Support and participate in scheduled stock takes, contributing to accurate inventory records and operational reliability.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar supervisory or warehouse leadership role.
- Strong ability to interpret KPI data and drive meaningful performance improvements.
- Proven people‑management skills with the ability to motivate, guide and develop a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and hands‑on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Forklift licence is an advantage but not essential.
