Warehouse Operative

Established trade supplier based in South Co. Dublin is seeking a dependable and physically capable Warehouse Operative to support day-to-day warehouse operations. The successful candidate must hold a valid counterbalance forklift licence and an up-to-date manual handling certificate. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, with every second Saturday required from 8am to 12pm. The warehouse is a fast-paced, hands-on environment, making this role ideal for someone who is fit, comfortable with physical work and capable of managing manual handling duties throughout the day.

You will be responsible for picking and preparing kitchen supplies for customer orders, unloading incoming trucks, loading outgoing delivery vehicles and assisting with stock management to ensure accuracy and efficient workflow. You will also be expected to maintain strong organisation within the warehouse, contribute to stock rotation & replenishment, while keeping the workspace clean, safe, and efficient. While previous warehouse experience is an advantage, it is not essential. Attention to detail, good communication and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are important for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Pick and prepare kitchen supplies for customer orders
• Unload incoming trucks safely and efficiently
• Load outgoing delivery vehicles
• Assist with stock management, rotation and replenishment
• Maintain accurate stock records and support inventory checks
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised and compliant with safety standards
• Follow manual handling and health & safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

• Valid counterbalance forklift licence
• Up-to-date manual handling certificate
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling throughout the day
• Reliable, punctual and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
• Good communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude
• Ability to work independently when required
• Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential
