You’ll be a highly motivated and detail‑driven individual. In this role, you will play an essential part in supporting the smooth coordination, flow and availability of materials required. You will collaborate closely with project managers, on‑site teams and external suppliers to maintain efficient procurement processes, uphold accurate stock management and ensure timely deliveries to both warehouse and projects.
Responsibilities
- Oversee end‑to‑end purchasing activities, including creating purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers and tracking order progress.
- Identify, assess and manage supplier relationships, carrying out price negotiations and monitoring performance to ensure reliability and value.
- Organise and coordinate the transport and delivery of materials to project sites and warehouse locations.
- Track inventory levels and contribute to effective stock management strategies to prevent shortages, delays or surplus materials.
- Anticipate material needs by forecasting in line with project timelines and operational demands.
- Maintain precise and up‑to‑date records of purchasing activity, inventory movements and deliveries within internal systems.
- Address and resolve delivery issues, quality concerns or supply disruptions in collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
- Support cost‑management efforts and identify process improvements that enhance efficiency and promote continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Experience in purchasing, logistics, supply chain or procurement.
- Strong knowledge of procurement workflows, inventory control principles and effective logistics coordination.
- Hands‑on experience working with software or systems.
- Exceptional organisational abilities, clear communication skills, and strong problem‑solving capability.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines within a fast‑paced, project‑focused environment.
- High level of accuracy, strong attention to detail and solid analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard business applications.
