Bendi Driver

Global surface‑coating products distributor is looking for a skilled and motivated Bendi driver to become a key part of their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to join a company known for quality, innovation and a strong team culture. The ideal candidate will hold valid Bendi and Counterbalance licences and bring hands‑on experience from a fast‑paced distribution or warehousing environment, along with a positive attitude and a commitment to maintaining high operational standards.

You will operate the Bendi forklift safely and efficiently, managing the movement of stock across the warehouse and unloading goods from racking with accuracy. You will support the putaway process, ensuring products are stored in the correct locations and reorganising mixed pallets when needed so they are ready for dispatch. You will also assist with scanning, checking and recording stock through handheld devices to maintain accurate inventory.

A key part of the role is maintaining a well‑organised work area, keeping aisles clear and reporting any damaged goods or equipment issues as they arise. Throughout the shift, you will work closely with the warehouse team to coordinate stock movements, avoid delays and uphold all site safety procedures contributing to a clean, efficient and well‑run warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate the Bendi forklift safely and efficiently to move, load and store products throughout the warehouse.
  • Handle palletised goods, including loading and unloading racking locations with accuracy.
  • Support the putaway and picking processes, ensuring stock is placed in the correct areas.
  • Reorganise mixed pallets when required and prepare goods for dispatch.
  • Use handheld scanners and other warehouse systems to track and record stock movements.
  • Maintain a tidy, organised work environment and keep aisles clear for safe operation.
  • Work closely with the warehouse team to coordinate stock flow and avoid delays.
  • Report any damaged goods, equipment issues or safety concerns promptly.
  • Follow all site safety procedures and contribute to a well‑run, efficient warehouse.

Requirements:

  • Valid Bendi licence.
  • Valid Counterbalance forklift licence.
  • Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Confident operating Bendi in narrow aisles and busy warehouse settings.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse health & safety procedures.
  • Ability to work accurately with stock, scanners and inventory systems.
  • Good communication skills and a positive, team‑focused attitude.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks when required.
