Warehouse Team Lead

Rapidly growing e‑commerce company is on the lookout for a motivated and highly capable Warehouse Team Lead to help drive the next phase of their success. The successful candidate should be someone who can inspire a team, communicate with confidence and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves in a high‑energy warehouse setting. This role calls for a natural problem‑solver who can confidently guide staff, uphold excellent operational standards, and keep productivity, safety and workflow running at peak performance. A valid Counterbalance forklift licence is required and experience with a man‑up forklift will give you an added edge.

You will play a central part in a fast-moving environment where your ideas and efforts truly matter. You’ll take charge of daily planning, support your team through coaching & development and champion continuous improvement to keep operations running smoothly. You’ll oversee performance levels, ensure strict Health & Safety compliance and handle challenges with a calm, professional approach. As part of this ambitious, fast‑expanding business, you’ll work alongside excellent colleagues both locally and across their wider European network. You’ll enjoy a competitive salary, a strong benefits package and access to training that will support your personal and professional development.

Responsibilities:

  • Taking charge of the daily operations within the warehouse, ensuring everything runs smoothly and on schedule
  • Monitoring order flow, pick performance, and overall team output to maintain high productivity levels
  • Guiding, mentoring, and supporting warehouse staff to help them grow and succeed
  • Making sure every section of the warehouse is properly staffed and functioning efficiently
  • Upholding strict Health & Safety standards throughout the facility
  • Collaborating effectively with other departments to help deliver a seamless customer experience
  • Managing queries or concerns with professionalism and escalating issues when appropriate
  • Spotting operational challenges, risks, or inefficiencies and driving effective solutions
  • Assisting with hands‑on warehouse tasks when required, including operating forklifts

Requirements:

  • 2–3 years of proven experience leading teams in a warehouse or supervisory setting
  • Valid Counterbalance forklift licence required; man‑up certification is a strong plus
  • Excellent communication abilities paired with confident, effective leadership
  • Skilled at organising workloads, monitoring performance, and keeping operations on track
  • Solid understanding of Health & Safety practices within a warehouse environment
  • Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-moving operational setting
  • Dependable, well‑organised, and proactive with strong problem‑solving skills
  • A positive, people-focused mindset with the ability to inspire and develop others
  • Willingness to take on a range of warehouse tasks when needed
