Salary: €16 per hour

Counterbalance & Reach Forklift Operator

 

Counterbalance & Reach forklift operator needed for an international logistics and distribution operation based in Dublin 15. The business supports daily express movements between Ireland and the UK and services customers across Europe through a modern warehouse and depot network handling high‑volume freight activity.

 

This is a fast‑paced warehouse environment with continuous inbound and outbound traffic, where accuracy, safety and efficiency are essential to meeting daily delivery schedules.

 

You will operate Counterbalance and Reach forklifts to load and unload vehicles, place pallets into designated racking locations and move stock efficiently throughout the warehouse. You will ensure goods are handled correctly, stored accurately and prepared for dispatch in line with operational requirements.

 

You will also support general warehouse duties, communicate effectively with warehouse and transport teams and assist with routine operational queries. Strict adherence to health and safety procedures is required, along with a dependable and proactive approach to daily operations.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Operate counterbalance and reach forklifts to safely load and unload vehicles 
• Accurately place pallets into designated racking locations 
• Move stock efficiently throughout the warehouse to support operational demands 
• Handle goods with care and ensure they are correctly prepared for dispatch 
• Carry out general warehouse duties as required 
• Liaise with warehouse and transport teams on day‑to‑day operational activities 
• Comply fully with all health and safety procedures at all times

 

 

Requirements:

 

• Valid Counterbalance and Reach Forklift licences 
• Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or distribution environment 
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑volume operation 
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures 
• Good communication skills with the ability to work well as part of a team 
• Reliable, punctual and flexible approach to work
