Bendi Forklift Driver – Freezer Operation

Excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Bendi Forklift Driver to join a busy freezer operation based in Dublin 3. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working within a fast-paced warehouse environment and are comfortable operating in temperature-controlled conditions. Full warm protective suits are provided, ensuring employees are fully equipped to work safely and comfortably within the freezer environment operating at -18.0°C.

The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining the smooth movement of stock throughout the warehouse operation. This position offers consistent weekday hours with no weekend requirement, making it an attractive opportunity for individuals seeking work-life balance alongside long-term employment stability.

Working Hours:
Monday – Friday
9:00am – 6:00pm

The role involves operating a Bendi forklift truck within a cold-storage warehouse, loading and unloading stock, moving pallets safely throughout the facility and supporting warehouse operations to ensure customer orders are processed efficiently. Attention to detail and a strong understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures are essential, particularly within temperature-controlled environments.

This is a hands-on position suited to candidates who are comfortable working in physically demanding conditions and who can maintain high levels of accuracy and productivity throughout the shift. Previous experience within freezer, chilled, or cold-chain logistics operations would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities:

• Operating a Bendi forklift truck safely and efficiently
• Loading and unloading stock within the freezer warehouse
• Moving pallets to designated storage locations
• Assisting with stock rotation and inventory accuracy
• Completing warehouse duties in line with health and safety procedures
• Working within a temperature-controlled environment of -18.0°C
• Supporting goods-in and dispatch operations
• Conducting daily equipment checks and reporting faults when required
• Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
• Working collaboratively with warehouse and logistics teams

Requirements:

• Valid Bendi forklift licence essential
• Previous forklift driving experience within a warehouse environment
• Comfortable working in freezer conditions
• Strong awareness of warehouse health and safety procedures
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced operation
• Previous cold-store or freezer experience advantageous but not essential
• Flexibility and willingness to support warehouse operations where needed
