Rigid Driver

Highly regarded logistics provider is seeking a reliable, safety-focused Rigid Driver to join its nationwide delivery team. This Irish company has built a strong reputation for quality service, earning the trust of its customers through consistent performance, professionalism and high standards across its operations. To be considered, you must hold a Category C licence, a valid CPC qualification and a Digital Tachograph Card.

This role offers a consistent Monday to Friday schedule, giving you a structured and predictable working week with a strong work-life balance. In return, you’ll benefit from secure, dependable weekly earnings of €750–€800 net, making this an excellent opportunity for drivers seeking stability and long-term consistency.

You will start each day at the distribution centre, carrying out a full vehicle inspection to ensure your rigid side curtain truck is safe, compliant and road ready. You will then collect your manifest, outlining your scheduled pallet deliveries and routes for the day.

You will work independently, managing pallet deliveries with professionalism and care while maintaining a strong focus on safety and efficiency. You will also act as the face of the business on the road, delivering excellent customer service and building positive relationships with clients throughout your route.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete daily vehicle safety checks to ensure the truck is compliant and fit for use
  • Carry out deliveries in a safe, timely and professional manner
  • Provide a high standard of customer service at every delivery point
  • Accurately complete delivery documentation and digital records
  • Adhere to all road safety, transport regulations and company procedures
  • Communicate effectively with the transport team regarding delays or issues
  • Maintain a professional and courteous approach with customers and the public
  • Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, tidy and well-maintained

Requirements:

  • Valid Category C (Rigid) driving licence
  • Up-to-date CPC certification with all modules completed
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
  • Previous experience in multi-drop or commercial driving roles
  • Good understanding of road safety regulations and compliance standards
  • Ability to safely handle and move cartons and palletised goods
  • Strong communication skills with a customer-focused attitude
  • Reliable, punctual and capable of working independently
  • Ability to follow assigned routes and company processes
  • Good level of physical fitness to meet the demands of the role
