Location: Dublin 24

Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:00pm - 8:00pm

 

Picker / Warehouse Operative

 

Supplier within the business services sector is looking to recruit a Picker / Warehouse Operative to join its busy distribution centre in Dublin 24. Supporting customers nationwide, the company has built an enviable reputation for delivering a dependable service and maintaining high standards of customer care. They’re looking to add a motivated individual to their warehouse team who enjoys working in a challenging environment and takes pride in delivering a high standard of work.

 

You will play an important role in ensuring customer orders are picked accurately and prepared for dispatch in line with delivery commitments. Collaborating with an experienced team, you will assist with stock control, order picking and the booking in of deliveries. Your commitment, work ethic and willingness to learn will contribute to the high standards of service the company has come to expect.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Pick customer orders accurately from warehouse locations.
  • Work towards daily productivity and accuracy targets.
  • Book in stock deliveries from suppliers.
  • Inspect products and identify damaged or defective stock.
  • Move defective products to designated quarantine areas.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workstation.
  • Assist with stock control and inventory processes.
  • Follow all company Health & Safety procedures.
  • Break down stock and assist with container unloading when required.
  • Support the wider warehouse team with daily operational activities.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Previous warehouse or order-picking experience is advantageous.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a demanding environment.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Good timekeeping and attendance record.
  • Ability to meet productivity and accuracy targets.
  • Physically fit and comfortable standing for extended periods.
  • Comfortable handling stock and performing manual duties.
  • SAP knowledge is desirable but not essential as training can be provided.
  • Strong commitment to Health & Safety procedures.
