Salary: €14.50 - €15.00 per hour
Duration: Permanent
Location: Dublin 11
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
Counterbalance Forklift / Warehouse Operative
Reputable Irish organisation is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative / Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join its team in Dublin 11. The successful candidate will have previous warehouse experience, a valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence and a strong work ethic. You’ll be comfortable working within a busy environment and able to contribute positively as part of a hardworking and dependable warehouse team.
You will be responsible for the receipt, storage and dispatch of stock, ensuring customer orders are prepared accurately for collection or delivery. Operating a Counterbalance Forklift, you will assist with loading and unloading vehicles, moving goods throughout the warehouse and supporting the wider team with daily warehouse activities. Your commitment to safe working practices will help ensure warehouse operations are carried out efficiently and to a high standard.
Responsibilities:
- Pick, pack and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operate a Counterbalance Forklift safely and responsibly.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles.
- Receive, inspect and book in incoming deliveries.
- Store products correctly within designated warehouse locations.
- Move pallets and stock throughout the warehouse.
- Carry out stock movements and stock checks.
- Report damaged goods, shortages or discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Ensure warehouse equipment is kept in good working order.
- Follow all warehouse procedures and Health & Safety policies.
- Support the Warehouse Manager and wider team as required.
Requirements:
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
- Previous warehouse experience.
- Manual Handling Certificate or willingness to renew if expired.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance record.
- Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual duties.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Cheerful outlook and willingness to learn.
