Voice Picker

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Voice Picker to join a leading FMCG company based in Citywest. This is an ideal role for someone with previous warehouse experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork are key. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring customer orders are picked accurately and dispatched on time while maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

This position offers consistent daytime hours with the opportunity to significantly increase earnings through regular overtime. Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick customer orders using a voice picking system.
  • Operate a Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure orders are picked, packed, and prepared for dispatch within agreed deadlines.
  • Maintain excellent picking accuracy while meeting daily productivity targets.
  • Carry out quality checks to ensure products are correctly selected and free from damage.
  • Safely handle FMCG products in accordance with company procedures.
  • Load and move stock throughout the warehouse as required.
  • Keep warehouse aisles and work areas clean, organised and safe.
  • Follow all health and safety policies and warehouse procedures.
  • Report stock discrepancies, damaged goods or operational issues promptly.
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors and colleagues to achieve operational goals.
  • Support other warehouse duties as required during busy periods.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Voice Picker within a warehouse environment.
  • Proven experience operating a Powered Pallet Truck (PPT).
  • A valid Manual Handling Certificate is essential.
  • Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to achieving high picking accuracy.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Reliable, punctual and flexible with overtime when required.
  • Good level of spoken and written English.
