Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

 

Counterbalance Operator

 

Industry leader within the logistics and transport sector is seeking an experience Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join their warehouse team based in Dublin 15. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a safety conscious mindset and is looking to pursue a full-time stable job within a freight environment.

 

You as a Counterbalance Operator will be involved in the movement of goods throughout the warehouse ensuring stock is stored correctly and operations run efficiently. You will be responsible for loading and unloading vehicles of transported pallets ensuring safety practices are endured. This role would suit someone with confidence, experience and no stranger to team collaboration within the warehouse setting.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift.
  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing vehicles.
  • Transport stock to the correct warehouse locations.
  • Support goods-in and dispatch activities.
  • Pick and prepare orders for shipment.
  • Complete stock transfers and movements accurately.
  • Conduct routine warehouse inspections and checks.
  • Highlight damaged stock or inventory discrepancies.
  • Ensure warehouse areas remain clean and organised.
  • Follow all Health & Safety policies and procedures.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence. (Required)
  • Previous warehouse experience using a counterbalance Forklift.
  • Strong diligence and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety practices.
  • Reliable and dependable approach to work.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Previous experience loading and unloading vehicles is desirable.
