Role: Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Salary: €16.30 per hour

Duration: Permanent

Location: Rathcoole, Dublin

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00pm - 4:00am

Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Transport and distribution business is seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to support its warehouse operation in Rathcoole. Great opportunity to secure a full-time role within a busy freight environment where safe working and ethical practices are well thought after.

You will be responsible for the loading and unloading of pallets from trailers operating a Counterbalance Forklift as your primary role. You as key member of the warehouse team will ensure accuracy is maintained amongst all stock locations. This role suits an individual who is a confident forklift operator and comfortable working at a fast pace.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently.
• Load and offload trailers and rigid vehicles.
• Unload inbound freight and prepare outbound shipments.
• Move pallets from inbound areas to designated warehouse locations.
• Support cross-dock and freight handling activities.
• Process inbound deliveries and report any discrepancies.
• Complete stock and pallet movements accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Follow all company Health & Safety procedures.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required.

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
• Experience within a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Experience loading and offloading vehicles.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Strong awareness of Health & Safety procedures.
• Reliable and flexible approach to work.
• Own transport is more favourable.
