Salary: €47,037 per annum

Duration: Five Days Over Seven Rota

Location:  Northern Dublin

Rigid Driver (Full C Licence)

Opportunity for an experienced Rigid Driver to join one of Dublin’s leading food and beverage distributors, based in North Dublin.

Every day is different, with multiple deliveries taking you to Dublin’s busiest bars, cafes, restaurants and hospitality venues. If you enjoy staying active, working independently and delivering great customer service, this could be for you.

Successful candidates will make 10-15 deliveries per day, plan and sequence deliveries for maximum efficiency, build positive customer relationships while representing the company, accurately complete delivery paperwork and operating a rigid truck safely and responsibly at all time.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a rigid vehicle in accordance with road traffic legislation and company procedures
• Organise and sequence deliveries before leaving the depot each morning
• Complete deliveries across Dublin and surrounding areas
• Follow numbered drop schedules accurately and efficiently
• Provide professional and courteous customer service at delivery locations
• Lift, carry, pull and manoeuvre boxes from the truck into customer premises
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and proof of delivery

Requirements

• Full EU Category C driving licence
• Valid CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
• Experience driving a right-hand steer vehicle on the left-hand side of the road
• Experience driving in Ireland, the UK or another left-side driving country preferred
• Strong understanding of road safety and compliance requirements
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties
• Reliable, punctual and well organised
• Professional attitude with strong customer service skills
