Salary: €18.50p/h

Duration: Five Days over 7 rota

Artic Driver

Opportunity for a stable, long-term driving role for a artic driver, with Irelands leading food manufacturing company. We are seeking an experienced Artic driver to join one of the countries most respected food production companies, delivering products to warehouse locations across Dublin and surrounding regions.

Successful candidates must be comfortable manoeuvring and reversing into loading bays in busy warehouse environments, maintain a high standard of safety, professionalism and customer service. This is a permanent night shift position operating on a 5 day over 7-day rota, including weekend work when required. Start times will range between 8pm and 11pm depending on the route assigned. Routes vary in length with some taking approximately 4 hours and others running up to 10 hours. Gauranteed minimum of 8 hours pays per shift even when routes are completed sooner. This also comes with a €17.92 shift allowance.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an articulated (Artic) vehicle for the transportation and delivery of goods to warehouse locations.
• Complete scheduled deliveries efficiently and in accordance with planned routes and delivery deadlines.
• Reverse and manoeuvre artic vehicles safely into loading bays and designated delivery areas.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any defects or maintenance requirements. .
• Liaise professionally with warehouse staff, transport planners, and site personnel during collections and deliveries.
• Accurately complete delivery documentation and any required transport records.
• Adhere to driver hours regulations, tachograph requirements, and company policies at all times.
• Maintain high standards of vehicle cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• Follow all food safety, health and safety, and operational procedures when delivering products.
• Manage routes effectively while adapting to varying delivery schedules and operational requirements.

Requirements

• Full C+E (Artic) Driving Licence
• Valid Driver CPC
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous experience driving articulated vehicles
• Confidence reversing an artic into loading bays
• Ability to work night shifts and a 5-over-7 roster
• Provide a professional and courteous service when representing the company at customer and warehouse locations.
• Good communication skills, written and verbal.
