Salary: €16.00 - €17.00 per hour

Duration: Permanent

Location: Dublin 24

Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm

 

General Operative Production

 

Excellent opportunity to join a busy production company as a General Operative within its production facility in Dublin 24.

This is a varied, hands-on position combining warehouse, production and assembly duties. A valid Safe Pass is required for the role, along with experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift.

You will be responsible for loading and unloading raw materials, operating the Counterbalance Forklift, feeding materials to the production line and supporting general warehouse and production activities. The role will also involve using power tools to cut, prepare and assemble materials in line with operational requirements, quality standards and company health and safety procedures.

Full training will be provided; however, candidates with previous experience working in a fast-paced warehouse, manufacturing, production or construction environment will be at a distinct advantage

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Operate a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently when required.
  • Load, unload and transport materials throughout the facility.
  • Assist with day-to-day operational activities.
  • Support colleagues with general site and workflow requirements.
  • Use tools and equipment safely and responsibly.
  • Prepare materials and work areas for daily activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
  • Follow all Health & Safety procedures and site regulations.
  • Complete general operative duties as required.
  • Contribute to achieving daily operational targets.

 

Requirements

 

  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
  • Previous Counterbalance Forklift experience.
  • Valid Safe Pass (essential).
  • Valid Manual Handling Certificate.
  • Good spoken and written English.
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Previous experience within a hands-on operational, industrial or warehouse environment is advantageous.
