Salary: €16 per hour

Location: Dublin 15

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 17:00

Logistics Operative (Counterbalance)

Distribution centre operation in Dublin 15 is looking to add an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operator to its warehouse team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and well-organised environment where teamwork, reliability and a strong work ethic are highly valued.

You'll be responsible for the safe movement of stock throughout the facility, helping to ensure goods flow efficiently from arrival through to dispatch. You will also load and unload vehicles to relocate pallets and support day-to-day warehouse activities. This position would suit someone who enjoys a hands-on role, works well under pressure and takes pride in getting the job done right.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently throughout the warehouse.
• Load and unload vehicles in a timely manner.
• Move, stack and store goods accurately within designated warehouse locations.
• Carry out routine equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance requirements.
• Assist with goods-in and goods-out processes.
• Ensure all stock is handled with care to avoid damage.
• Support inventory control and stock accuracy procedures.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the warehouse.
• Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and warehouse procedures.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet daily operational targets.

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
• Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Strong awareness of Health & Safety practices.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Manual handling experience is advantageous.
