Role:    Rigid Driver (Full EU C Licence)

Salary: €700p/w

Duration: Eleven Days Over Fourteen Rota

Location: Cork - Fermoy

Benefits:

Are you an experienced Rigid Driver looking for a secure role with a thriving Cork-based company? Here’s an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing oil distribution business serving homes and businesses throughout Cork and surrounding areas.

 

As an ADR Oil Tanker Driver, you will play a vital role in delivering heating oil and fuel safely, efficiently and professional to both residential and commercial customers. No two days are the same offering a varied rewarding role where you will build strong relationships with customers and become a trusted face of the business in the local community.

 

We are looking for a driver who takes pride in their work, enjoy providing excellent customer service and can work confidently both independently and as part of a supportive team. Strong route planning time management and communication skills will be a key to your success in this position.

 

Responsibilities

 

• Safely operate a Rigid truck to deliver oil and fuel to residential and commercial customers.
• Organise and sequence deliveries before leaving the depot
• Complete deliveries across Cork - Fermoy and surrounding areas
• Follow numbered drop schedules accurately and efficiently
• Provide professional and courteous customer service at delivery locations
• Identify potential sales opportunities and communicate these to sale/operation managers.
• Respond promptly and professionally to customer queries
• Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and proof of delivery

 

 

Requirements

 

• Full EU Category C driving licence
• Valid CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
• Available to work weekends and at other locations if required.
• Experience driving in Ireland, the UK or another left side driving country preferred
• Strong understanding of road safety and compliance requirements
• HazChem (ADR) qualification essential but training provided
• Reliable, punctual and well organised
• Professional attitude with strong customer service skills
