Salary: €16.00 - €17.00 per hour

Duration: Permanent

Location: Dublin 24

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm

 

Production Operative

 

Exciting opportunity has become available for a General Operative to join a busy and fast-moving operation in Dublin 24. This position offers a varied workload and would suit someone who enjoys staying active throughout the working day.

 

This role combines general operative duties with Counterbalance Forklift operation, material handling and support across multiple areas of the facility. You’ll play an important part in ensuring materials are moved efficiently, work areas remain organised and daily activities are completed on time. This role requires a valid Safe Pass and a strong commitment to maintaining high Health & Safety standards at all times.

 

You will also need to operate power tools when required and support colleagues across the operation to help maintain productivity and workflow. Full training will be provided, making this a great opportunity for someone looking to further develop their existing skills within a stable and growing business.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Operate a Counterbalance Forklift safely and effectively.
  • Load and unload materials and deliveries.
  • Move stock and materials to designated work areas.
  • Support the smooth day-to-day running of the operation.
  • Use power tools to cut, prepare and assemble materials.
  • Assist with material preparation and handling tasks.
  • Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
  • Follow all Health & Safety policies and site procedures.
  • Work closely with team members to achieve daily targets.
  • Carry out additional operative duties as required.

 

Requirements

 

  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
  • Previous Counterbalance Forklift experience.
  • Valid Safe Pass (essential).
  • Valid Manual Handling Certificate.
  • Good spoken and written English.
  • Strong work ethic and reliable approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Previous experience within an industrial, warehouse, construction or operational environment is advantageous.
