Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

PPT Operator / General Operative

 

Successful distribution operation is seeking a Warehouse Operative / PPT Driver to join its busy warehouse team in Dublin 22. The business has built a strong reputation through its commitment to service, accuracy and operational excellence. This opportunity would suit a motivated individual who enjoys working as part of a team and is looking to further develop their warehouse experience within a demanding environment.

 

Working across both goods-in and goods-out functions, you will be responsible for picking and preparing customer orders, managing stock movements and ensuring orders are processed accurately and dispatched on schedule. Using voice-picking headsets and ride-on Powered Pallet Trucks, you'll play an important role in maintaining productivity levels, stock accuracy and the smooth flow of warehouse operations. Your contribution will help ensure customer expectations are met while supporting the team in achieving daily targets and maintaining high operational standards.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Operate a PPT in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Accurately select and prepare customer orders.
  • Assist with loading and unloading deliveries.
  • Relocate stock throughout the warehouse as required.
  • Support inbound and outbound warehouse activities.
  • Replenish picking locations to maintain workflow.
  • Complete stock checks and report any discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and safe work environment.
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Carry out additional warehouse duties as required.

 

Requirements

 

  • Valid Manual Handling Certificate.
  • Previous PPT operating experience.
  • PPT Licence/Certificate is advantageous.
  • Order picking experience, with voice-picking experience beneficial.
  • Previous warehouse experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Reliable and dependable approach to work.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Good communication skills.
