Salary: €16.00 - €17.00 per hour

Duration: Permanent

Location: North Dublin

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

 

Counterbalance Operator

 

Logistics facility in North Dublin is seeking an experienced Counterbalance Driver to join its warehouse team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a results-driven environment and wants to become part of a well-organised operation where teamwork, efficiency and reliability are key to success.

 

Playing a key role in the movement of stock, you will be responsible for ensuring goods are received, stored and dispatched safely and accurately. You'll help maintain the smooth flow of warehouse activities while supporting the team in meeting customer demands and delivery deadlines.

 

This role would suit a motivated individual who is comfortable balancing forklift duties with general warehouse responsibilities and who takes pride in maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Operate a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload inbound and outbound deliveries.
  • Move stock to the appropriate storage and picking locations.
  • Support goods-in and dispatch activities throughout the day.
  • Carry out routine forklift and equipment checks.
  • Assist with stock movements and warehouse organisation.
  • Ensure products are handled carefully and stored correctly.
  • Maintain accurate stock locations and inventory standards.
  • Keep warehouse areas clean, safe and well organised.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve daily targets.

 

Requirements

 

  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
  • Manual Handling Certificate
  • Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift.
  • Experience within a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment.
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Reliable, hardworking and punctual.
  • Good communication skills.
