Role: Forklift Operator.
Salary: €14.85 per hour.
Duration: Contract.
Location: Ballymount.

Forklift Operator

Nationally recognised company at the forefront of the construction industry is seeking to expand its highly skilled and experienced team. This organisation prides itself on rewarding excellence, particularly in areas such as safety and sustainability.

You will play an essential role in delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a well-organised warehouse. Working as part of a team performing duties such as picking orders, palletising stock, operating a high reach forklift, loading trucks and performing manual handling tasks to lift items when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a high reach forklift to load, unload, move materials and products within the warehouse.
• Ensure proper handling and secure placement of loads.
• Perform routine pre-start checks and basic maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Have a Strong understanding of safe operating procedures and guidelines when loading and unloading products.
• Assisting with general warehouse duties such as picking, packing, and labelling orders.

Requirements:

• Must be available Monday to Friday.
• Able to work in a fast-moving environment.
• Forklift License (Reach and/or Counterbalance) essential.
• Proven experience picking, packing, checking, and dispatching of orders.
• Previous use of warehouse management systems including RF scanners.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
