Purchasing Coordinator
Leading distribution company in North Dublin is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to join a dedicated on-site procurement team. This role is essential in managing sourcing and purchasing activities across Europe, China and India, ensuring a streamlined supply chain and high-quality vendor relationships.

While the role is fully site-based initially, there is potential for hybrid working after six months based on performance and operational needs. The team operates 100% on-site currently, promoting close collaboration and real-time decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end purchasing process for international suppliers across Europe, China and India
- Negotiate pricing, delivery terms and contracts with new and existing vendors
- Maintain accurate records of orders, delivery timelines, and supplier communications
- Work closely with internal departments to forecast demand and ensure inventory availability
- Monitor supplier performance and address any quality or delivery issues
- Support the onboarding of new suppliers and participate in regular supplier reviews
- Assist in developing procurement strategies to optimise cost savings and supplier efficiency
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Experience in a purchasing or procurement role, ideally in an international environment
- Strong knowledge of sourcing from Europe, China and India
- Excellent negotiation and supplier relationship management skills
- Proficiency in using ERP systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Knowledge of import/export regulations is desirable
- A relevant qualification in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Business is an advantage
