PPT Order Picker

Are you an experienced PPT Order Picker with a valid manual handling certificate and proficiency using voice picking systems? This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced logistics operation offering consistent weekday hours, overtime potential, and a supportive team culture.

This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in accuracy, safety, and efficiency in a warehouse environment. Working Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:30, you’ll also have the option to start an hour earlier and be paid time and a half for that additional time. With overtime regularly available, there’s great earning potential for reliable and motivated pickers.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a Powered Pallet Truck (PPT) safely and efficiently to pick and move stock
• Use voice-picking software accurately to select items as per order specifications
• Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times, including manual handling protocols
• Ensure timely and precise order fulfilment in a busy warehouse setting
• Work cooperatively with other team members to meet daily operational targets
• Maintain a clean and organised work area

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating a PPT in a warehouse or distribution centre
• Competence using voice-picking software or similar order-picking systems
• A valid manual handling certificate
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to targets
• Comfortable with physical work, including standing for long periods and handling stock
• Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently
