Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Logistics and distribution operation based in Dublin 15 is seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse team. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and safety-conscious individual looking for stable, full-time employment with regular weekday hours. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring goods are moved efficiently throughout the warehouse while maintaining high standards of accuracy and health and safety.

This position is ideally suited to candidates who have previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck within a fast-paced warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment. The role offers a structured Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Candidates must be comfortable working as part of a team while also demonstrating the ability to work independently when required. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to daily tasks will be essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Counterbalance Forklift Truck in accordance with company procedures and health and safety regulations
• Load and unload vehicles efficiently and accurately
• Move stock throughout the warehouse and designated storage locations
• Assist with goods-in and goods-out operations
• Carry out daily forklift inspections and report any defects immediately
• Ensure stock is stored correctly and safely within warehouse racking systems
• Pick, pack and prepare orders when required
• Maintain accurate stock movement records
• Support inventory checks and stock counts
• Keep work areas clean, organised and free from hazards
• Work closely with warehouse colleagues to meet operational targets and deadlines
• Follow all site-specific procedures and safety requirements at all times

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence/Certificate
• Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck within a warehouse environment
• Strong understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable, punctual and committed to maintaining high standards
• Experience loading and unloading vehicles is desirable
• Basic warehouse and stock control knowledge
• Ability to carry out manual handling duties where required
• Flexible and positive attitude towards work
• Good level of spoken and written English
• Eligibility to work in Ireland
