Salary: €16.00 - €17.00 per hour
Duration: Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Dublin 15
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (Earlier start times can be accommodated)
Counterbalance Forklift Driver
Experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver’s wanted to join a busy warehouse operation based in Dublin 15. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in sprints some parts of the day are faster than others and your someone who can maintain high standards of safety, accuracy and efficiency. You will play a key role in ensuring goods are received, stored and dispatched correctly while supporting the day-to-day running of the warehouse.
This role offers a stable Monday to Friday working pattern with the flexibility of earlier start times. The position would suit an individual with previous warehouse experience, excellent forklift operating skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork. Health and safety is a priority, so applicants must hold valid, up-to-date certification and be committed to following warehouse procedures at all times.
Responsibilities
- Operate a Counterbalance Forklift safely and efficiently.
- Unload incoming deliveries and trailers.
- Inspect goods upon arrival and report any discrepancies or damages.
- Put stock away into designated warehouse locations.
- Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with loading outbound vehicles when required.
- Maintain accurate stock movement and warehouse organisation.
- Carry out general warehouse duties as required.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures.
- Keep work areas clean, tidy and organised.
- Work closely with warehouse colleagues to achieve daily operational targets.
Requirements
- Valid and up-to-date Counterbalance Forklift Certificate.
- Valid and in-date Manual Handling Certificate (essential).
- Previous experience operating a Counterbalance Forklift within a warehouse environment.
- Experience unloading trucks and putting stock away.
- Order picking experience.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Flexibility to start earlier when required.
