Role: Counterbalance Operator

Salary: €30,000-€32,000

Duration: Permanent.

Location: Dublin North

Hours: Monday to Friday.

Counterbalance Operator

Leading Irish transportation company is seeking a skilled Counterbalance Operator to join their team in North Dublin. The ideal candidate will have both valid manual handling and counterbalance certificate. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to enhance their skillset. You will grow within a company that is dedicated to delivering a first-class service in a warehouse environment.

In this role, you will be providing essential services in the freight and supply chain industry. You will operate forklifts, load, and unload trucks, pick, and pack items, and perform other typical warehouse duties. You will also need to demonstrate your expertise in forklift operation, ensuring all duties are conducted professionally and in line with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Operating counterbalance to move, load, and unload goods within the warehouse.
• Assisting with general warehouse duties such as picking, packing, and labelling orders.
• Using warehouse management systems (WMS) or other inventory software as required.
• Conducting safety checks daily and adhering to the company’s health & safety policy
• Regularly maintaining cross-department communication.
• Perform daily safety checks.

Requirements:

• Counterbalance License Essential
• Manual Handling Cert Preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous use of warehouse management systems including RF scanners.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8am – 5pm
