Counterbalance & VNA Forklift Operator

Logistics and warehousing operation in North Dublin is seeking a skilled Counterbalance & VNA Forklift Operator to support daily warehouse functions. This role is ideal for candidates with a solid background operating forklifts with keen attention to detail, and a commitment to health and safety. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in maintaining efficient warehouse flow and inventory management in a fast-paced distribution setting.

Working within a dedicated and professional team, the role involves handling a variety of stock movements and load management tasks. Operating both Counterbalance and VNA forklifts, the operator will be responsible for maintaining high standards in stock placement, retrieval, and overall warehouse housekeeping. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking for a stable Monday to Friday role with regular hours and a competitive rate of pay.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate Counterbalance and VNA forklifts in a safe and effective manner
  • Load and unload goods from vehicles and storage areas
  • Carry out stock movements and inventory checks with accuracy
  • Ensure goods are stored safely and in accordance with company procedures
  • Perform routine maintenance checks and report any equipment issues
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse
  • Assist with general warehouse duties as required
  • Follow health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements:

  • Valid Counterbalance Certificate
  • VNA Certificate preferred however experience is essential
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
  • Strong understanding of warehouse procedures and safety standards
  • Good level of physical fitness and ability to work on foot when required
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
