Responsibilities:
- Operate a counterbalance forklift to load and unload goods from vehicles safely and efficiently
- Handle large-scale or heavy equipment with care and precision
- Prepare customer orders accurately for collection and dispatch
- Navigate a busy yard, ensuring safe movement and clear access at all times
- Work collaboratively with warehouse and dispatch teams to meet tight deadlines
- Perform daily checks and report any faults on the forklift or equipment
- Maintain high standards of health and safety throughout all tasks
Requirements:
- Valid and up-to-date counterbalance forklift licence
- Experience operating forklifts in a heavy machinery or agricultural equipment setting
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to consistently meet operational targets without compromising safety
- Comfortable working outdoors and in changing weather conditions
- Reliable, punctual, and proactive in day-to-day responsibilities
