Looking for a rewarding opportunity in logistics? A company in Blanchardstown is seeking a skilled Rigid Driver with a Counterbalance Forklift Licence to join their team. This role offers steady hours and a balance between warehouse and road-based tasks.
The role is Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:30, with an early finish most Fridays. You’ll earn a base salary of €850 gross per week, delivering pallet loads to industrial estates across Dublin. While this role primarily involves driving, counterbalance forklift skills will allow you to contribute in the warehouse when needed.
Meal Allowance: €17 per day when work involves extended time out of the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a rigid truck to deliver palletised goods to business across industrial estates.
- Load and unload pallets using manual and mechanical equipment as required.
- Assist in warehouse tasks, such as inventory management and preparing orders for delivery.
- Plan and follow efficient routes while adhering to delivery schedules.
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure high-quality service.
- Maintain the vehicle in excellent working order, reporting any issues promptly.
Requirements:
- Valid rigid truck driving (C) licence with an excellent safety record.
- Up to date CPC & Tachograph Card
- Counterbalance Forklift certificate.
- Proven experience in driving and logistics roles.
- Strong understanding of road safety and transport regulations in Ireland.
- Good physical fitness to manage loading/unloading tasks.
- Punctuality, reliability, and a proactive approach to work.
