Role: Van Driver
Salary: €30,000 – €32,000 + €17.92 daily meal allowance
Duration: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Based out of Citywest, delivering in Dublin City and North Dublin
Van Driver
Established logistics operation is seeking an experienced dependable and efficient Van Driver to join their delivery team. This is a full-time permanent opportunity, ideally suited to a driver who enjoys structured routes, early starts, and daily contact with regular clients. Deliveries are concentrated in Dublin City and North Dublin, this role offers the stability of routine and the energy of a fast-paced day on the road.
Operating Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 16:00, you will begin and end each day in Citywest, where the company’s fleet is based. Each morning, the driver will collect a pre-loaded van and return in the evening for unloading, ensuring smooth handovers and operational efficiency. On average, the position involves 20 deliveries per day to businesses and commercial addresses within a manageable delivery radius.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily multi-drop deliveries (approx. 20 per day) across Dublin City and North Dublin
- Adhere to scheduled delivery windows and company procedures
- Conduct pre-departure vehicle checks and report any issues promptly
- Ensure professional customer interaction during all deliveries
- Load and unload goods if required, working closely with warehouse teams
- Return van to base each evening to maintain the fleet schedule
- Maintain accurate delivery records and communicate any delivery exceptions
Requirements:
- Full clean B licence with proven van driving experience
- Strong geographical knowledge of Dublin City and North Dublin
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Punctual, organised and reliable work ethic
- Ability to manage physical demands of loading and unloading
- Availability to work Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 16:00
