Salary: €28,000 - €30,000

Duration: Full-time

Location: North Dublin

Hours: Monday-Friday 09:00-17:30  

Reach & Counterbalance Operative

Successful global freight company is seeking to add an experienced Reach & Counterbalance operative to their team in North Dublin. This position offers an immediate start with full-time hours, weekly pay, and the potential to transition from a temporary to a permanent role for the right candidate.

You will expertly operate both Reach and Counterbalance forklifts to conduct tasks such as transferring goods throughout the warehouse, unloading cargo from incoming vehicles, handling replenishments and stock consolidations. In addition to these responsibilities, you will also support other areas of the warehouse as needed. This may include assisting in the goods-in department, participating in inventory control activities, and performing daily warehouse duties such as picking and packing orders.

Responsibilities:

• Replenishing stock in designated storage areas.
• Operating warehouse equipment such as, forklifts, and reach trucks.
• Following standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all tasks.
• Keeping the warehouse clean and organized to maintain a safe working environment.
• Picking and packing orders according to meet customer specifications.
• Receiving and inspecting incoming deliveries for accuracy and damage.
• Collaborating with team members to meet daily targets and deadlines.

Requirements:

• Reach truck license essential.
• Counterbalance forklift required.
• Manual handling certificate.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
