Hours: Monday – Friday

Dedicated and skilled Warehouse Operative wanted to join a dynamic team based in Dublin Dublin 22. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is looking for a stable, full-time position in the logistics sector. The successful candidate will possess a valid manual handling certificate and have proven experience operating Counterbalance Forklift. This position offers a clear path for progression and development within a well-respected company that values its employees and their career growth.

As a Warehouse Operative, your main responsibility will be to ensure the efficient and safe handling of goods and materials throughout the warehouse. This includes loading and unloading delivery vehicles, organising stock within the warehouse, and maintaining high levels of safety and cleanliness. The role requires someone who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with a strong emphasis on maintaining accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Operating a counterbalance forklift to manage goods within the warehouse.
  • Loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicles.
  • Ensuring accurate stock management and inventory control.
  • Maintaining safety standards throughout all operations.
  • Performing manual handling tasks efficiently.
  • Participating in regular training and development sessions.
  • Assisting in the cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse space.
  • Reporting any incidents or discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence is essential.
  • Valid manual Handling Certificate
  • Proven experience in warehouse operations.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects safely.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required by the business.
